Yea-Sacc®1026 was the first animal feed additive launched by Alltech. Based on saccharomyces cerevisiae strain 1026, this low inclusion rate, concentrated, viable yeast culture was initially targeted for dairy, beef and calf feeds. A large body of research has clarified its mode of action and performance responses as well as extended its application to pig, poultry and equine feeds.
